The programme at the Shannon Pictures on Saturday will be headed by ."Heart Trouble," a First National release described as 100 per cent, unadulterated comedy. He goes through the sufferings of twelve wars to get into one, and' then finds that the Armistice has been signed for 24 hours. "PAY AS YOU ENTER." - On Monday Warn?r Bros, will present "Pay as You, Enter." Louise Fazenda, Clyde Cook, Myrna Loy and ? William Demarest are featured in "Pay aa You Enter," which Director Lloyd Bacon describes as riotous comedy. Demarest gives up -fighting to \vork on the ear of which Clyde. Cook is motorman, and the pair wage a wicked war to win Miss Fazenda, who

runs a lunch counter neair the carbarns. The love bout i 3 further complicated by the presence in the cast of Myrna Loy, a 3 a vamp.

A poultryman near Wellington writing to a friend in Wanganui makes the following interesting- comments, which indicate that the position merits investigation by the Government: "Things are not too good. As egg-production increased so the price of fowl food went up. The wheat pool put 2d a bushel more on wheat, and a good many people have gone out of the poultry business. Eggs have not been so cheap in the winter for 15 years, and fowl feed so dear. I think there must be a ring forcing the price of eggs down, so that speculators can buy great quantities and put them in cold storage, releasing them on the market when eggs are dear."
