WYALONG (N.S.W.), July 26

Considerable excitement and amusement was caused in the main street on

Saturday evening when a young man approached a monkey belonging to a travelling show, grabbed the monkey's tail, and said: 'Hullo, Ned Kelly.' The monkey evidently resented being called Ned Kelly and slipped the collar from its head and chased the young man along the street, followed by the keeper and a large crowd. The was eventually caught and restored to his chain. No one wag injured. '
