NASH CUP fIRST ROUND. WANDERERS AND HUI MAI SUCCESSFUL, OTAKI AND FOXTON TO MEET IN JUNIOR PLAY-OFF. THIRD GRADE\ CHAMPIONSHIP WON BY WERAROA. Saturday was a day of important events in BJorowhenua football. {The senior competition having been completed, whlen Wanderers won the championship a week previously, the Nash Cup contest was opened, Wanderers defeating Shannon on the Park Domain, Levin, and Hui Mai travelling to Otaki, where they had a close win over the home team. The two junior competitions closed, Foxton land Otaki being the respective winners of the North and South divisions. They will play to decide the junior championship on Saturday week, at Levin. The third grade championship was settled at Prouse's paddock, wheVe an interesting game resulted in WeraToa jdftfeating Tokomaru by two points.
