The twenty-first annual general meeting of the Shannon Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., will be held in the Parjsh Hall, Shannon, on Saturday, August 10. An increase in v all departments is reported, the butter manufactured being .119 tons, lewt, 3qrs, 71bs in excess of the previous year and the store account' showing an increase and nett profit of £924 17s 9d. The amount to the credit of profit and loss account as shown on the balance sheet is £3311 18s 6d. Out of this amount the directors propose paying the usual 6 per cent, dividend, carrying the balance forward. As four nominations have been received to fill the two vacancies on the board of directors, a ballot will be necessary. The nominees are Messrs W. James' and G. 11. Stiles (retiring directors), Ronald J. Law and Thomas Gardner.

The butter trading account is shown as £152,809 13s Bd, of which £139,053 9s is for the purchase of butterfat. The store trading account is shown as £33,461 16s sd, with sales for the year a5.£27,974 6s Id. Compared with the previous year, the company shows £3311 18s 6d credit to profit and loss account, crease of £6BO 12s.
