STATEMENT FOR JUNE. The folloAving particulars of the loai transactions of the Public Trust Offici and new business reported during thi month ended 36th June, 1926, havi been supplied by the Bight Hon. tin Prime Minister.
The amount paid out in settlement oi new loans Avas £146,583. , Further neAv loans were granted ti the amount of £63,825, and the tota of neAv loans hoav awaiting completior is £459,735, Avliile offers of loans less than the full amounts applied for amount to £111)090, a total of £570 } - 825.
Bene Avals of 38 loans amounting t( £175,994 Avere also authorised. Applications, for additional neAv loam amounting to £288,899 are now unde: consideration.
Estates of a value of £822,450 Avere reported and accepted for administration during the month, making the new business for the quarter ended 30th June, 1929, £2,378,599, Avhich is over £600,000 more than the figure for the same quarter in the preA T ious year. On the 31st March last the total vaiue of the estates under administration was £48,334,790. Grants of administration made by the Court in faA T our of the Publie Trustee numbered 111 for the month.
During the month 540 new Arills appointing the Public Trustee executor AA'ere deposited for safe custody with the public Trustee by living testators, and the total number uoav held is 64,177 representing an estimated present value of £256,000,000.
