STRANGE DINNER PARTY
RICH BACHELOR'S GUESTS.
One of tlio strangest dinner parties on record was held in London lately. Mr James Loze, a wealthy bachelor with a flat in Mayfair, originated a now idea in social fashions by entertaining all the women with wlhom he had ever been in love. Six in number: tiiev came from places as far apart as Manchester, Edinburgh, Madrid, Moscow, and Viccnza, in Italy. Three more exist, but Mr Loze has been unable to ascertain if they are alive or dead. "My reason for giving this unusual party is definitely not because I wish to attract any notoriety to myself," Mr Loze said.. "lam no longer young and I thought it would be a pleasant thing to look once more upon the facts oi the women who in days gone by I have loved and lost. "No doubt we shall find each other c great deal changed and we shall get one or two shocks when we come face ti- face." Mr Loze drew himself up. "But they toll me that I'have not worn too badly. I am 68, but I feel not a day older than 40."
