Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., in conjunction with Messrs Levin and Co., Ltd., report having held two very successful clearing sales of dairy cows and heifers on account of Messrs B. B. Wood and Co., at Tokomaru, on Monday and Tuesday last This being an extensive offering of Jersey and Jersey cross cows, which came forward in good condition, the attendance was large on both days, and bidding was well maintained for best quality cows right throughout. Prices ranged as follows: —Best young cows and early ealvers, £l2, £l2 10s, £l3 ss, £l4, £l4 10s, £ls, £ls 10s, £l6 £l6 10s, £l7, to £l9 lOsj later ealvers and older cows, £B, £8 10s, £9 £lO 10s, £ll, £ll ss, to ' £ll 15s; springing heifers, £9, £lO, £ll to £l2. Sundries, «te., sold w®ll at lato rats*.
