EXPERIENCES ON WEST COAST. Mrs J. C. Laing, of Wallace Eoad has received a letter from her sister Mrs J. Lines, of Sherry river, whiel gives a graphic description of whai some qf the settlers there suffered dur ing the earthquake.and of the forti tude with which they faced their mis fortune.
