Casey has received a letter from the Dannevirke Eugby Union advising that though they had accepted Saturday, 6th July, as the date for the 'Bebbirigtan Shield match at Levin, they now find they are unable to go on with the challenge this year. The Bush also written stating that Saturday, July 27th, is not acceptable to them for their Bebbington Shield game, and they suggest the game being played on Wednesday. July 31st. The following will represent Shannon Thirds against Weraroa at Miranui ground on Saturday, 29th at 2.50 p.m.:—Tipplerfi Ma'bey, Spencer, Clayton, Whiti, Eoach, Booker,,, Mercer, Woodmass, Hemmingsen, Snfoll, Pratt, Eichards, Blackburn, Lester, BcEwen, Satherley, Tremewan, Brassington.
