At the Levin weekly stock sale on Tuesday there was a good attendance of the public, to Avhom Messrs Abrah'am and Williams, Ltd., offered a good yarding of sheep and smaller entries of cattle and pigs. The prices realised Avere as under: — Sheep. —Pat wethcis, 25/3, 35/5 to £2; fat and forward hoggets, 22s 8d; woolly white-faced Avether hoggets, 21s 9d to 23s 3d; black-faced hoggets, shorn, 21s Id; eAves in lamb to SouthdoAvn rams, 33s Id. Cattle. —Forward cows, £4 17s Gd; fat cows, £6 7s 6d; dairy coirs, £6 17s Gd, £8 to £9 ss. Pigs.—Medium pqrkers, 36s to ■ £2; heavy porkers, £2 7s, £2 10s to £2 16s. lambs, 21 to 4gns.; m.a. eAves, in lamb to Romney, 34s 3d; small 2-tocth Avethors, 30s Id; Avether hoggets, 24s 2d; Romney rams, lgn. Dairy coavs ranged from £ll 10s to £l6 155., the herd averaging approximately £l3; spring calving heifers, £7 155., £lO 2s 6d, and £lO 5s to £lO 10s. A line of bulls ranging from Aveaners to yearlings sold at £3 16s. Small Aveaner steed’s, £3 2s. Sundries brought full market value.

CLEARING SALE ON ACCOUNT OF MR COTTLE. The New Zerlaiul Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., report that on June 12th they held a very successful clearing sale for Mr C. 11. Cottle, at the farm, Queen Street, Levin. Despite the very Avet day there Avas a big attendance of the public and a

complete clearance was effected'at enhanced prices. The sheep sold particularly Avell, every pen shoAving an increase over recent sales, and the dairy herd and young stock met Avitli a ready sale.
