At the Levin wekly stock sale on Tuesday Messrs Abraham & Williams, Ltd., offered a fair yarding of cattle and light entries of sheep and pigs to a good attendance of the public. They quote as follows: — Pigs.—Stores fl, light porkers 35s and 37s 6d, medium porkers £2 3s and £2 ss.
Sheep. —Fat and forward ewes 23s Id, forward ewes 15s 6d > small fat lambs 20s Bd, ewes run with Romney ram 24s 6d, small black-faced lambs 11s 7d and 11s Bd.
Cattle. —Fat cows, £5, £6, £6 10s, to £6 15s; forward cows, £4 12s 6d, £4 15s; Jersey weaner heifers, £4 14s; empty cows, £4 to £4 ss; springing dairy cow, £9 log.
