Arrangements are being made to play the third grade game with Tokomaru en the Domain on Saturday, commencing at 1.30 p.m. Mr Leng-Ward has promised to donate a trophy to the senior player in the Shannon team, who scores the most points during the season, and Mr A. E. Hyde has donated a pair of football boots to the third grade team. ■ The committee of the Shannon Football Club at their meeting this week placed on record their appreciation of the service of several players who travel long distances to play in the interests of the Club.
The following will represent Shannon Thirds against Tokcmaru at Miranui grounds on Saturday: —Tippler, Speneer, Mabey, Hemingson, T. Roach, JN". Pratt, Lester, D. Mercer, L. Mercer, Ewart, Bowler, Woodmass, F. Jameson, Jade, Booker, McEwen, Richards, Satherley, G. McEwen.
