'' THREE RING MARRIAGE.''

"Three Ring Marriage," the new First National picture coming to the Shannon Theatre on Saturday, which co-features Mary Astor and Lloyd Hughes, is a genuine blown-iu-tl.e-bot-tle circus story, w T ith the flavour of the sawdust ring, red lemonade, clowns, bareback riders and wild animals. It is a genuine circus story for most of the cast is made up of circus performers, and a real circus was staged intact, from opening pageant to hippodrome races. There are giants and midgets, clown? and prancing horses, blaring bauds and flying trapeze artists as the baekgiound for this interesting story. Miss Astor portrays the daughter of a rich ranch owner who falls in love with a cowboy. Hughes, ,the cow-puncher, is fired from his job because of it, and joins a circus. Miss Astor follows him, also becoming 'd circus rider, and the experiences which develop while the circus is on the road malke a fascinating story that holds attention, from start to finish.

"THE SILVER SLAVE" STARS MISS RICH. The wi&tful loveliness of Irene Rich has never been seen with quite !so telling effect as in her latest starring vehicle, the Warner-Master picture, "The Silver Slave," which comes to the Shannon Theatre on Monday.. She plays the part of a youthful widow, victim of gold-seeking parents, who married her to the highest bidder, while the man she loved was cast aside. She is determined that her wilful daughter shall not make the same .mistake, and takes it. upon herself to use her personal charni3 to win away the rich undesirables whose wooing has captivated the child. This she does successfully, not without causing furious anger in the heart of the young "woman until the reason is explained. Brilliant and glamorous is this story of modern people.
