LEVIN RACING CLUB.

NO ELECTION OF OFFICERS NECESSARY. «

The calling of -nominations for the offices of president, six vice-presidents and twelve stewards of the Levin Racing Club resulted in only the required number of nominations being received; so therefore an election will not be neces-ary. The only alteration from last year’s officers is that Mr S. J. Sievers succeeds Mr P. H. Harper as a steward. The officials so returned are as under:— President—Mr T. Bevan Vice-president's—Messrs C. Blenk horn, W. Higgins, T. Hobson, R. A. Macdonald, F. F. Newman and John Ryder. Stewards —Messrs W. Bull, R. Y. Brown, W. C. Hannan, S. J. Sievers, H. McMillan, F. Davies, J. W. Procter, L. G. McDonald, E. M. Ryder, W. Ryder, W. G. Vickers and M. Winiata.
