REVIVING PORT OF FOXTON.

NEW COMPANY CONFIRMS PURCHASE OF STEAMER. TO TRADE BETWEEN LYTTELTON AND WELLINGTON. FOXTON, April 26. Ati a large and representative meeting held last night, a company was formed, to be called the Himatangi Shipping Co., Ltd., with a capital of £IO,OOO, to take over the steamer Comlebar, purchased in Sydney in anticipation, which purchase was confirmed by the shareholders. Over half the share capital was subscribed by those present. This steamer will trade between Lyttelton and Foxton. It is a twin-screw vessel, 150 feet long and 30ft beam, and carries 325 tons on a light draught. The vessel will be commissioned at an early date.
