Apparent ly the complaint is the depth over a iif tancc of five and one-lialf chains. T successfully do away with the dang'e 'to travelling stock getting into th race, it should be piped. I estimate tb cost of piping this portion of race witi 12-in diameter concrete pipes, to b £123. A much cheaper method wouh be to fence the race off with chaii netting. Tokomaru Riding.
