ANZAC DAY.
SERVICE AT SHANNON. Anzae Day (Apiil 25th), which falls on Thursday this year, will be commemorated in Shannon by the holding of a service at 10 a.m. in the Maori land Theatre. His Worship the Mayor invites citizens of Shannon and the surrounding district and returned soldiers to attend -this gathering.
The returned soldiers are asked ta fall in at the school at 9.45 a.m. and then march to the hall.
