PEES COLLECTED EXCEED ESTIMATE. Sir Jiames Wilson presided at monthly meeting of the Palmer North Hospital Board held oh T 1 day. Reports. ■ Dr. F. Ward, medical superintend reported that there were 182 ad sions to the institution during Fe ary, while 169 Inmates were dischar Patients in hospital at the end of/ ruary numbered 159. The chairman, in commenting on financial position, stated, that they so mine need the year with an overd of £BSB which was. now reduced siderably. He, anticipated finishing year without- it. Fees collected to < were £4OO ahead of the estimate it looked as though . the amount pcc'ted to be collected/ £9500, .woulc exceeded by £SOO. Charitable aid cost £7OO more than estimated and increased revenue from fees had I absorbed in this direction.
