YOUNG MAN RENDERED UNCONSCIOUS. OTAKI, Jan. 7. A young man who was going,north l Jiis morning on his motor-cycle met with a- nasty accident at the new cutting south of Mr. George Sevan's residence. He was carrying two pitchforks and it is thought that one caught in the spokes of the machine, or ■ that the cycle skidded. However, the rider was thrown very heavily and wag rendered unconscious. The injuries to his head are very severe, and up to going to press the unfortunate man was still unconscious, and his identity unknown. Later. The young man injured is Mr. "Jim" Fielding, son of Mr. "W. Fielding, of' Te Horo. -
