MESSRS ABRAHAM AND WILLIAMS’ REPORTS. The weekly stock sales were resumed this week, after the Christinas and New Year holidays. Messufe Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows: 4 SHANNON SALE. An average yarding of sheep-and a smallish entry of cattle were .offered! at the Shannon yards on Monday, to, a fair attendance of the public, an tithe following prices were realised:— Sheep.—Fat ewes 22s 6d, medium, shorn-Romney lambs 16s 7d, small, lambs 11s 6d, cull ewes 10s. Cattle. —Fat cows, £6 10s, £6 15s to £7; forward cows, £6 to £6 ss; Jersey heifers r.w.b., £6 ss; potter, bulls, £s’ 10s, to £6 10s to. £7. ' LEVIN SALE. At Levin yesterday small yavdings of cattle and pigs were submitted, no sheep coming forward. The attendance of farmers was affected by the lateness of haymaking this season'. Quotations are as under: — Cattle. —Fat cows, £6 ss, £6 10s, £6 12s fid to £7 7s fid; forward cows, £6 to £fi ss; springing heifers, £9 10s to £11; store cows, £4 15s to £5.
