HOROWHENUA V. RANGITIKEI,
.. The Horowhenua representative cricketers journeyed tc Marton on Saturday, when they met and were defeated by a representative Rangitikei' team. The weather was cold and wet, and several adjournments had to be made during the match owing to heavy showers.
Rangitikei batted first and sscored 102, M. Lyon S 3 and G. L. Marshall 11, being "the only players to reach double figures. Horowhenua could' only make 55, of which H'ellamore scored 12 and F. S. Simcox .11.
