MOTOR CYCLING AT LEVIN.

NEW YEAR MEETING. . Members of the Otaki Cycle Club met at the Cycle-Works on Friday evening, Mr. A. W. Broadway presiding. Messrs Nilsson and McGill reported on their visit to Levin on matters affecting the club while ’Mr. Irvine reported on his visit to Wellington. The reports were considered very satisfactory. The matter of guarantors had been arranged, and everything pointed to a most successful meeting on New Year’3 Day at Levin. Messrs Smith and Cockrell, ropre senting the -Borough Council, attended the meeting and discussed the proposed erection of conveniences at the camping ground at Rangiuru. It was agreed that the erection of the necessary buildings be left to the Council. An application for a “shower” at Rangiuru beach-was .advanced, and it was agreed to make necessary application to the Council.

A further meeting of the Club will be held next Friday.
