The fourth round of the inter-club championship was played on Thursday at’ Palmerston North, when Shannon met Oroua, to !bc 'defeated by 101 points to 58. The scores were as follows, Shannon being mentioned first:— 'Mrs Mason lost to Mrs Turner, 4-26; Mrs Franks beat Mrs Oakley, 26-23. Mesdames Harding and Picard lost to Mesdames Aitkeif and Sutton 18-26; Mesdames Snelling and Roach lost to Mesdames Bridge and Manning 10-26.
