ROWLING.
On Wednesday afternoon a rink from the Shannon Club visited ■Palmerston North and met Northern the holders of the Takaro Cup, but were defeated by 2Q to 15 after an interesting game. Shannon were represented by Grey, Brann, Mason, Bo via. (s) and the Northern rink bv Palmer, McKee, Stallard and Bennett (s).
