SHIRT BUTTON HINT

To save broken buttons and the holes cut by them, take the buttons oft the shirt front, and in their place make buttonholes. Then stitch the buttons on to a broad piece of tape and slip them through the made buttonhole. They may then be removed for washing, and the one set of buttons will serve for many shirts.
