After a considerable search, in the course of which the whole carburettor was pulled to pieces and solemnly blown through, in case some particular section: might ■ be the main jet, it' was discovered that l their component had come adrift altogether,and been.sucked by the induction of. the. engine into the butterfly throttle, where it had jammed.
