THE CARE OF SILVER
The daily care of silver is much more important than the thorough cleaning; which it receives at stated intervars. Table silver should be washed as soon as possible after it has been used. Use hot water with a few drops of ammonia and melted soap to make a nice lather. Bub it with a piece of flannel, rinse in clear water arid dry with a soft towel while the silver is still warm. This is an important point if good results are wanted, for if allowed to lie wet it is difficult to remove the watermarks. When dry give each article a good rub up with a chamois leather and then put away neatly in a silver basket, drawer, etc.
