A PERSONAL MESSAGE. Pellow Citizens:In asking for a continuance of your support and co-operation, my one desire is to serve New Zealand. I have always believed in a plain plan of work which I have honestly endeavoured to carry out. My policy in 1925 was one with which every patriotic N. Zealander could associate himself. Some ad-, ditions and alterations have nowbeen made —for time moves on, and we must meet changing conditions. The underlying principles, however, are essentially the same. I cannot offer you something for nothing. The measure of our national prosperity must depend on out work and our thrift. Let us, therefore; combine to promote still further the advancement of the land we love so well. J$ G. COATES, Wellington, October 15, 1928.
