UNITED PARTY'S EXPECTATIONS.
In reply to a question on Saturday evening, Mr Veitch stated that as a result of the election on "Wednesday next, the United Party would have enough members to form a government. Had it not been for Labour Party votesplitting, Reform would have been defeated two elections ago.
