At the Levin weekly stock sale yes-, ter day there was' a fair attendance of the public. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd./ report having submitted an average yarding and effected practically a total ; clearance ryidcr the hammer at prices on <a par with late rates. They quote: — Pigs. —Weaners, 15s, 16s; slips, 17s, 18/6 ( to £1; stores, 22s 6d, 245, to 30s; light porkers, £2 2s 6d, £2 3s to £2 os; heavy porkers £2 10s to £2 16s, Sheep.—Ewes and lambs £2 7s, aged ewes with small la nibs 30s 6d. fat hoggets 335. . * Cattle. —Fat, cows £6 17s 6d to £7, forward cows £4 5s to £5 7s Gd, yearling. Jersey heifers £4'los to £7 2s, twoyear steers £5 17s to £6 12s 6d, cows and calves £5 10. s to £6 15s, yearling Jersey bulls £5 2s 6d to £5 10s.
