Something new in car accidents lies in: the experience of an oil-driller who was speeding along the Old Trails highway east of Flagstaff, Arizona. One of his brakes on a front wheel was binding. The wheel caught fire from the friction, but the first knowledge the driver had of the canflagration was when the spokes burned through and the axle had hit the ground.
