Through an apparatus by which electrical impulse was controlled by a beam of light, a narrow beam cast about an Atlantic City hotel room, was charged into music and was held under perfect control at will by John Taylor, consulting engineer for the General Electric Company.- '' •'"'*>■ The equipment used is known as the photophone.
