GOLF NOTES.
At a meeting held on Tuesday of the committee of the Levin Golf Club it was decided to officially close th.j Links on Wednesday, October 17th. On Saturday next will be played a bogey competition for the captain's trophy. m During the week-end a medal match will be played in the afternoon for a trophy presented by Mr J. D. Brown. On Wednesday, the closing day, a mixed foursomes will be played, the winning pair receiving silver buttons presented by Dr. Hunter. This event will be played on handicap and players may choose their own partners.
