A DEVICE

An ingenious method of protecting the speedometer cable lias been adopted on an expensive Continental car. a-The device is quite simple, and consists of ■a length of copper tubing, suitably curved and slipped over the outside of the speedometer casing, and fastened rigidly by simple clamps to prevent kinkipg. It is by no means necessary to cover the cable for its entire length vtith this tubing, but only over that section which is inclined to kink.
