JMttt MtMM W«WA i fro-., /e_^ «<fc Don't let SupeK-Covemment"wreck Representative Government./ WE HAVE CAPTURED PARLIAMENT'* was the boast made by the General Secretary of the New Zealand Alliance, speaking in Sydney on 87th June, 1928 (see Sydney Morning Herald, 28/6/28). They—the "prohibs"—say they have captured your Parliament, stolen pour right to self-government. That is 'super*government'—when a sinister minority can impose on the people's representatives the further* ance of their own narrow creeds and selfish interests* The New Zealand Alliance, using American political methods, is out to place prohibition in front of the many ▼ital questions affecting New Zealand's welfare. It seems incredible that a British -to • the ■ back ■ bone country HKe New Zealand should ever witness such bare-faced robbery of the people's right to govern. Stand firm for Freedom and Clean Politics. Insist on Representative Government and on your Rights and Liberties as Citizens.
