PLUNKET SOCIETY.

MEETING OP LEVIN BRANCH. The monthly meeting of the Levin branch of the Plunket Society! was held on September 3rd, Mrs Hobson presiding. • There were also present: Mesdames Percy, Keedwell, Bartholomew, Davie, Falloon, Ryder, O'Connor and the Secretary (Mrs Smaill). Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames Bevan, Clark, Thomson and Denton.

. The Plunket Nurse reported as to the number of visits during the month. Fifty-one visits were made to homes in Levin, while 108 adults, 79 babies and 14 other children visited the rooms. Fifteen visits were made to homes in Shannon, where 48 adults, 40 babies and seven other children visited the rooms.

The following and subscriptions were received: Messrs Kerslake and Billens, Ltd., and Mr. Don-nelly,-£1 .la each; Mr. G. Wise, 10s 6d; Mr. Green, 10s; Mesdames Blenkhorh, T. H. Johnston, J. Macdonald, Wilson, Bartholomew, Percy and Ramsay, 5s each.
