It is a rollicking comedy of training camp life—the rivalry, ructions and romance revolving round an old soldier, a new recruit and a pretty girl, and will be screened at the Maoriland Theatre on Saturday. MYSTERY THRILLER—MONDAY. A giant ape-man, standing nine feet tall and tipping the scales at 400 lbs, has the title role in" The Gorilla," pieturisation of the sensational mysterycomedy by Ralph Speuce which, in its stage * version, rocked • Broadway for more than a year. Charlie Murray and Fred Kelsey are co-featured in the role of Mulligan and Garrity, two detectives who hear all, see all, and know nothing. They undertake to capture the gorilla and thus solve several, mysterious murders which are supposed to have been committed by him. Their extraordinary methods in effecting this capture in a spooky house on the top of a cliff are reported to furnish most of the hilarity. The comedy, however, is combined] >vith chills and thrills, according to First National Picture's, and will be screened on Monday. - «»
