MANAWHENUA REP. MATCH.
AGAINST HAWKES BAY ON WEDNESDAY.
The prospects are for a fine exhibition of Rugby on the Palmerston North show, groun<ls on Wednesday., when Manawhenua, who appear to have struck their top form since returning from the Southern tourn will play Hawkes. Bay. If the Combined District team can reproduce the form which they showed" in their victory over Taranaki last Wednesday, they should have no difficulty in disposing of the visitors. The game will be closely watched in view of Manawhenua's re-
turn game with Tau-anaki at New Plymouth next Saturday and the Ranfurly Shield match with Wairarapa at Carterton on Wednesday, September :sth.
