LEVIN STOCK MARKET.
MESSRS ABRAHAM AND WILLIAMS. Owing to rough weather, states Messrs Abraham and Williams* (Ltd.) report, only a, medium yarding of sheep and cattle came forward at the Levin sale, on Tuesday, but there was a good yarding of pigs. Dairy cows and heifers were of rather inferior quality and sold below late rates. They quote: , Sheep. —Fat wethers 395, fat pei lambs £2 ss, cull ewes 7s 2d. Cattle. —Coloured three-year steers £5, forward cows £4 12s 6d to £5 16»i yearling Jersey heifers £3, .potters £2 10s to £3 15s. SHANNON SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williamsy-'Ltd., report that at their Shannon 3ale on Monday the following prices were realised: — Sheep.—Fat wethers 37s 3d. Cattle. —Springing heifers £8 os to’ £9 10s, fat cows £5 10s to £6, forward cows £4 2s 6d to £4 ss.
