LEVIN BOWLING CLUB.
A meeting of the committee of tlie Levin Bowling Club was held on Monday night, there being present: Messrs C, Shenvood (in the chair), McDonald, Hutchings, Clements, Smaill, Parker and Casey (secretary). An apology for unavoidable absence was received from the president (Mr J. D. Brown). Correspondence from Otaki and Foxton Bowling Clubs extended invitations to their annual danehs, to be held 5 shortly.
It was decided to put a window in the dining room at the pavilion. The opening day. of the season will be the first Saturday in October. TRIANGULAR SHIELD.
The secretary's action in writing to the Foxton Bowling Club, to ascertain '' their views on the admitting, of the Otaki Bowling.'Club to the Triangular Shield competition was confirmed.
, Further arrangements were left in the hands of the secretary. club competitions;
It was decided to apply the two-life system to championship games, A; and B grade, with a time limit of one week for , each round.
The handicap competitions' will be conducted on the same lines as in previous years, w'itlr the addition that there will be a games supervisor, who' will endeavour to bring the competitions to a satisfactory' conclusion. Mr Clements was appointed supervisor of games.
