The return match, Foxton versus Shannon, was played on the Heirhigton Golf Links on Saturday. The. weather was ideal and the course in good order, especially the greens. The play resulted in a win for Shannon by 9 games to 4, one being halved, Detailed results, Foxton mentioned first, are as follow: — . Roach lost to Gagliardi. Easton lost to Jones. Shirley lost to D. Saxon. Ross lost to 11. Stern. Christie beat Stephenson. Mason beat C. Franks. Walton beat Cronquest. Newton lost to Blackwood. LADIES 9 HOLES. Mrs Newton and Mrs Moynihan halved Miss Neylon lost to Miss Saxon. < Mis s Robinson lost to Mrs Moynihan. Mrs Austin lost to Miss Dillon. Mrs Easton lost to. Miss Sinclair. Mrs Walton beat Miss D.
