There was only a fair attendance on the local links'on Saturday, _but the greens were fast and the scoring was above the average. The best performance of the afternoon's play was that of H. Blyth, who put up a eourse record 77 (1 under bogey), going out 445435454—35; in, 536434455—39, This record is likely to stand for some time and Blyth is to be congratulated on his achievement.
