TEAM TO PLAY CANTERBURY V The Manawhenua t-Quring team with their manager Mr. H. R. Crawford, departed South on the Napier mail yesterday afternoon ,en route for the South Island where they will play their first game versus Canterbury on Lancaster Park, Christchurch to-morrow. On August 15 the tourists will play at Dunediri versus Otago and on August 18 will meet the elect of Southland at Invcrcargill. The team to meet Canterbury is somewhat changed from that which met Wanganui lasf Saturday with such unhappy results. The team is:— - Full-back: Williamson. Three-quarters: . Roberts, Westwood, Strange, Five-eighths: ; T. Parata, Akuira. Half: W. Parata. Rover: Gleoson. ' Hookers: Hakaraia, Summers. Lock: Parsons. Supports: Conrad, Tatana. Back-row: Dalzcll, Miles. Galpin is th only absentee from the twenty-one players originally nominated for the tour. He has been replaced by Stratford of Te Kawau.
