The heirs-at-law,' through counsel, pointed out that Mrs Grove-Grndy left £400,000.. and contended that the bequest was in*, valid because it was'impossible- to find eonmuiteeme'n complying with the conditions. There must always be antivivisectionists and opponents of deathdealing sports. Mr Justice Romer said that if they killed bu:terfiies in their boyhood they would be ineligible, although an Eski-. mo'might be .suitable.' Counsel: Unless he were disqualified for killing Polar bears. He added thai the bequest included various pests such as slugs and insects, and 'therefore, it was uncharitable. The case was adjourned.
