HOLED OUT IN ONE.
K. ADAMS' FEAT ON HEATHERLEA COURSE. The honour has fallen to K. Adams of being the first member of the Levin Golf Club to hole a ball in one ; shot. This occurred in a four-ball match played during the week-end, when he was in company with G; C. France, D. Todd and A. G. Todd. The feat was accomplished at-,"The,Basket," "at which Adams holed his tec shot over a diatance of 110 yariu. A happening such as this brings a player right within the focus of the spotlight, as it were, and it is understood that Mr Adams heroically paid the penalty for his, publicity, in accordance witH the tradition of the "royal and antient game."
