JOY NIGHT.

The Joy Night held by the Moutoa "• •' bachelors in the Moutoa Hall on Fri-. day night was an unqualified success, being voted the most enjoyable social yet held there, visitors being present from all parts of "the district; '' The decorations were on a lavish scale, the interior of the hall with its coloured, lights, streamers, etc., presenting a real carnival scene. Novelties in the shape of masks, fancy hats and - balloons and squeakers adding to the . merriment. The music was supplied by , Larkins' Orchestra, extra's being played by Misses Delaney and Stevenson, while the duties of M.'sG. were efficiently carried out <-by Messrs M. E. Perrea'u and S. Barber.
