The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report a good clearance of a medium yarding of sheep, cattle and pigs at. the , usual weekly stock sale held at Levin on Tuesday. Prices were as follow': — Sheep: Fat wethers, 35s to 40s; medium fat ewes, 28s 3d; fat lambs, 28s Id; small 2-tooths, 22s to 22s 9d; aged ewes in lamb, 27s Id; small lambs, 18s Bd. Cattle: Medium fat cows, £5 10s to £6 10s; light fat heigers, £5 to £6; forward condition cows, £3 10s to £4 10s; store ditto; £2 10s to £3; small weaner heifers, 355; yearling bulls, £4; heifers close to profit, £lO 10s to £l2; dairy cows £5 to £B. At the Levin sale on Tuesday, Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., offered a fair yarding of cattle and small entries of sheep and pigs to a good attendance of the public. The following prices were realised: — Sheep. —Ewes 18s 6d, lambs 25s lid.
