MAORILAND PICTURES.

MAE MURRAY IN “LOVE SONG.”

Mae Murray, the fiery, impetuous star of “The Masked Bride” and “Altars of Desire," appears in the role of a cabaret dancer of Barcelona, in ‘ ‘ The Love Song. ” What a role this for Miss Murray—as a girl who had to choose between sailor sweetheart and villainous grandee. Handsome Lloyd Hughes is her naval lover, and Roy D’Arcy the sinister, rival. Dimitri Buchowetski, the noted Russian who made “The Midnight Sun,” directed this picture, and packed it ivith dramatic situations of great power. Spain, land of sunny skies and beautiful women and the very birth-place of romance, is shown in its haunting beauty and picturesque contrasts. Its charm seems to radiate from the silver screen, and weave itself around the audience.

VICTOR McLAGLEN IN A BRITISH

PICTURE.

Monday’s offering at the Maorilnml is entitled “M* Lord of the White Road.” It features Victor McLaglen in what is probably the finest product of British Studios to 'date. The scenery is very beautiful, depicting some of the most enchanting glimpses of rural England. The scene of the store is laid in the* Regency days and it is brimful of incident and excitement. Altogether a charming and satisfying picture..
