OHAU BURGLARY.

LADS BEFORE THE COURT.

The two youths who were arrested at Muhunoa' W. Wednesday morning by Detective Russell and Constable Bagrie, on a charge of breaking and entering the Ohau Post Office and stealing a quantity of mail matter, were charged, with the offence yesterday, in the Juvenile Court, before Mr P. W. Goldsmith, J.P. The older boy was remanded to appear before the Magistrate at Palmerston North to-day. With regard to the other lad, the presiding Justice remarked that the report on his character seemed to be a good one, but he appeared to have got into bad company. He would«be placed under the supervision of the Superintendent of Child Welfare for two years, and for six months of that period he would be in an institution.
