SHANNON BOROUGH COUNCIL MAKING RATES FOR YEAR J 1928-1929. is hereby given that the Shannon Borough Oouncil, pursuant to Section 50 of the Rating Act, 1908, •will at a Council meeting to be held on the 29th day of May, 1928, at the Shannon Borough Council office, Plimmer Terrace, Shannon at 7.30 p.m. make and levy the following rates for the period commencing on the first day of' April, 1928, and ending on the thirtyfirst day of March, 1929, namely— A GENERAL RATE under Section 77 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, of, lid in the pound sterling on the capital value of all the rateable property within the Borough of Shannon. A Hospital and Charitable Aid Rate of id (one-eighth of a penny) in the pound. A Sanitary Charge of sixpence per •week for eaefy convenience on each and every premises containing such convenience. A Special. Water Rate of three-farth-ings in the Pound on the Capital Value of all the'rateable property within the Borough of Shannon to provide; the interest, principal and sinking fund on the water supply loans. All the above rates are payable at the office of the Shannon Borough Council in one instalment on the second day of July, .1928. 4 Also that notice is given that the rate book containing particulars of all the above rates and •sanitary'charges, also the Valuation Roll containing the■> values of which the rates are assessed is opened for inspection at the Borough Council office during office hours.
